Abstract
Apelando al proyecto teórico de modernidad/colonialidad, así como a conceptos de Bourdieu (La Distinción) y Eduard Said (Textualismo), el artículo plantea una mirada crítica a la educación musical universitaria en Colombia por su enfoque eurocéntrico. El proyecto toma como objeto de estudio tres programas paradigmáticos en la educación musical universitaria en Colombia, estos son las carreras de música de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, el Conservatorio (Universidad Nacional de Colombia) y la ASAB (adscrita a la Universidad Distrital "Francisco José de Caldas"), y los analiza a partir de entrevistas a profesores y directivos, y etnografias de clase. Los análisis se realizan en lo que aquí se llaman eje horizontal, es decir, los supuestos ideológicos comunes a los profesores de los diferentes programas, que constituyen el marco epistemológico que sustenta sus comentarios, actitudes y propuestas sobre la educación musical universitaria en Colombia.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
