Abstract
Resumen: Através del análisis de dos proyectos pedagógico-musicales realizados en dos universidades brasileñas, este documento pretende discutir cuestiones de educación musical a la luz de la pedagogía crítica abordada por Paulo Freire. El primer proyecto tuvo lugar en Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, presenta algunos aspectos de los Talleres de Música del Programa Escuela Integrada. Como recolección de datos, se utilizaron informes de los participantes y entrevistas con ellos. El segundo proyecto utilizó el modelo de aprendizaje informal de Lucy Green (2008) en varios municipios que atiende la carrera de Música a Distancia de la Universidad de Brasilia. Se utilizaron entrevistas, observaciones, cuestionarios en línea y análisis de materiales producidos por los participantes. Los principios pedagógico-musicales adoptados en ambos proyectos apuntan a la necesidad de valorar y movilizar los saberes musicales de los educandos, el aprendizaje colaborativo y la conciencia de su potencial musical hacia una posible pedagogía musical de la autonomía.
