Abstract
El presente documento propone una lectura sobre la obra ¡La historia nuestra, Caballero! (Cartagena, 2008) del artista afrocartagenero Nelson Fory; para ello se vale de un registro audiovisual que permite contextualizar espacialmente la intervención. El texto, a través de la revisión de algunas fuentes, intenta argumentar la conexión que existe entre la declaración de la ciudad como Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad (1984), el enfoque que se le ha dado al tratamiento de su centro histórico, y su conexión con el turismo y los recientes procesos de gentrificación.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
