Abstract
Después de una crisis de varias décadas, la música de arte peruana ingresó en un periodo de cambio alrededor de 1990, coincidiendo con el fin de la guerra interna entre el movimiento terrorista Sendero Luminoso y el ejército e, internacionalmente, con la expansión de Internet y el correo electrónico y con cambios políticos debidos a la caída del muro de Berlín y de la Unión Soviética. La nueva generación de compositores que inició actividades en esos años es notablemente más numerosa que las anteriores. Reflejando esta nueva situación, un suceso importante fue la aparición de una agrupación de estudiantes y compositores jóvenes, el Círculo de Composición del Perú, Circomper, en el 2001, que, desde su inicio, se apoyó en gran medida en la nueva tecnología, lo cual le permitió incluir en sus actividades a compositores e intérpretes peruanos residentes en el extranjero.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
