Abstract
En el proceso de creación de su obra Naturgemälde: morfogénesis y fuerzas telúricas, Emmanuel Laverde recogió una característica destacada de Alexander von Humboldt: mirar el mundo desde diferentes perspectivas. Fue la mente curiosa del explorador alemán que lo condujo a comprender la simultaneidad de las cosas y abrir la conexión de nuestro mundo real e intangible. Laverde hizo una relectura y deconstrucción de una de las más famosas imágenes que dejó el legado de Humboldt: Tableau Physique, que en su original muestra todas las características físicas, climáticas y ecológicas del volcán Chimborazo en Ecuador.
