Abstract
La cabeza anida pájaros de distintas especies. Del seno izquierdo brota un árbol cargado de frutos amarillos. Un guayacán florecido recorre el vientre, sube y se extiende por las costillas, los pulmones, el corazón. Del vientre hacia abajo crece un río que se curva, lleno de peces. En este tapiz de las tejedoras de Mampuján, el cuerpo es territorio vivo. Una mujer contiene un pueblo entero y nos recuerda la relación orgánica entre cuerpo y territorio: no se entiende la casa sin el cuerpo, como tampoco se entiende el cuerpo sin su comunidad y su tierra. De cada lado, esta mujer-mapa sostiene una casa y un río que alberga hombres pescadores, niños que juegan en el agua, mujeres que llevan sobre la cabeza la pesca del día, una lavandera sentada en la orilla, y al pie del agua crece el aguacate, el maíz, la berenjena.
