Abstract
A survey was conducted on the public stock market professional behaviors that are morally accepted by Colombian investors from four cities around the country. For such purpose, theoretical developments on ethics, economics and finance were reviewed, followed by the application of the Behavior Anchored Research Scale (bars) technique, taken from organizational psychology. Based on the mentioned theoretical framework, the public stock market professional behaviors were grouped by three dimensions: honesty, responsibility, and fair information management. The conclusions highlight the pertinence of the methodology employed, both for further research on the topic and for other business administration areas. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License.
