Resumen

 


La Generación Y se destaca por sus creencias, aspiraciones y actitudes diferentes a las de las generaciones precedentes. Este estudio explora las expectativas de esta generación con respecto al balance vida laboral y vida privada, examinando la influencia de los padres y el género, y su impacto sobre las elecciones laborales. Mediante un cuestionario auto-administrado se interrogó una muestra de 217 universitarios de pregrado. Se encontró que los jóvenes Y privilegian los aspectos intrínsecos del trabajo, muestran interés tanto en desarrollar una carrera como en el equilibrio entre su vida profesional y su vida privada. El género no ejerce una influencia significativa. Se ofrece una guía para entender las expectativas de los jóvenes frente al mercado laboral.
