Abstract
Este artículo estudia el Diario de los sucesos de la Revolución en la Proviincia de Antioquia en los años de 1840 i 41 de María Martínez Nisser (1843) en dos contextos relacionados entre sí: por un lado, el de los estudios de género, por otro, el de las guerras civiles del siglo XlX colombiano. En tanto publicación femenina temprana, examina los mecanismos de los que se vale la autora para legitimar su participación pública, tanto en el terreno de la guerra como en el de las publicaciones letradas: el texto sigue en forma de diario de los sucesos de la Guerra de los Supremos, en la cual participó activamente, pero constituye también una defensa ante el apelativo de ramera que le acarreó esta participación. En términos ya no sólo de género sino también del significado de las guerras civiles, el texto de Martínez de Nisser da luz también sobre los aspectos que estaban en juego en la confirmación política de la nación.Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
