Abstract
Esta investigación se centró en el análisis de las disparidades en anemia nutricional en Colombia,
desde la perspectiva de los determinantes sociales de la salud, la seguridad alimentaria y nutricional
y el derecho a la alimentación. Se empleó información secundaria de la Encuesta Nacional
de la Situación Nutricional en Colombia (ENSIN) y de la Encuesta Nacional de Demografía y
Salud (ENDS), realizadas en 2005, las cuales tienen cobertura y representatividad nacional. Las
técnicas usadas para describir y explicar las disparidades incluyeron la estimación de razones
de prevalencias, índices y curvas de concentración y un análisis explicativo multivariado de
las variables determinantes de las disparidades en anemia mediante la descomposición de las
variables explicativas del índice de concentración.
