Abstract
Objetivos:
Describir las condiciones de vida, salud y los factores que condicionan el acceso
a servicios de salud de la población desplazada y receptora de seis localidades de la ciudad.
Metodología: Se realizó un estudio de corte transversal que incluyó una muestra de población
desplazada y no desplazada de la que se obtuvo información mediante encuesta. La información
poblacional fue complementada con técnicas cualitativas a través de las cuales se obtuvo
también la perspectiva de hospitales y administradoras del régimen subsidiado. Resultados:
En los desplazados existen barreras de acceso derivadas del proceso de reconocimiento de la
situación de desplazamiento, del flujo de información entre instituciones, de los mecanismos
y beneficios del aseguramiento y del modelo de atención en salud. Conclusiones: Como con
secuencia
de la migración forzada y de las privaciones materiales y afectivas, los desplazados
tienen peores condiciones de vida, salud y más barreras de acceso que otras poblaciones pobres
y vulnerables.
