Abstract

This brief article, presents the analysis of a participatory workshop conducted with students, teachers, and health officials of the Programa Salud al Colegio (School Health Program), in November 2007. The workshop was held at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana during the International Congress of School Health within the Framework of the Primary Health Care and ensuring the Right to Education, which was convened and funded by the Secretariat of Health and the Secretariat of Education of Bogotà. After a biref descrption of the Programa Salud al Colegio, presents the background, objectives and methodology of the workshop and the voices of participants, which ainclude: their concepts of health and quality of life; contibutions, challenges and threats of the program, and finally some recommendations.
