Diseño y desarrollo del tubo de tórax

Abstract

This paper does reference to the interdisciplinary process among the Department of Productive Processes of the School of Engineeríng and the Surgery Department of the School of Medicine of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana for the design and development ofquirurgical elements. The different phases of the engineering design process are applied and implemented. The design process for the development of a prototype of a torax pipe that allows the drainage of fluids of the cavity pleural is showed.
