Abstract

In Peru industrial heritage issues are not yet an institutionalized discourse, nor does a tradition of valuing and preservingthis extraordinary legacy exist. This article approaches the historical and present condition of Peruvian tangibleand intangible industrial heritage. It is based on conceptual, normative and historical references and practices relatedto the specific situation of Peru’s industrial heritage.
