Abstract

The main objective of this research is to analyze the relationship between empathy, resilience and remote work during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic and identify the main challenge of leaders and worker to practice home-office during the COVID-19 outbreak. Using a quantitative methodology that implied the design of a questionnaire with 46 items, collecting 258 data, of which 209 correspond to people who have been working remotely in companies in the Northeast of Mexico. The main findings highlight that the designed scale is valid and reliable, it is perceived that it works more than in normal conditions and that the main challenges focus on the technological infrastructure and adaptation to changes. It is concluded that there is a relationship between resilience, remote work and empathy.
