Abstract
Cuando exploramos la obra de Marc Augé, un término parece aplicarse con toda precisión: viajero. Su exploración de lo que comprende como una antropología de los mundos contemporáneos, aparte de cubrir diversas regiones en África y América, aborda la ciudad. Así, Un etnólogo en el metro (1986), Travesía por los jardines de Luxemburgo (1987) y su conocida obra Los no lugares, espacios de anonimato (1993) reflejan este viaje, en el que explora con la mirada del antropólogo los contextos en los que habitamos diariamente. La lectura de su obra ha estado fuertemente asociada al concepto de no lugar, el cual ha servido para comprender los aeropuertos, los supermercados y diversos sitios, pistas de la conformación de lo que hoy expresamos con la idea de globalización.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
