Abstract
El Departamento de Literatura de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Educación de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana es, ante todo, el espacio donde se desarrolla una conciencia de cultura. Por eso, las distintas secciones que componen el número de Universitas Humanística quieren manifestar esa conciencia y proponerla al lector no como un hecho cumplido, sino como una tarea. Todos los días laboramos y pensamos nuestra cultura. Sin embargo, a partir de este número Universitas Humanística, teniendo en cuenta la importancia de la relación entre "Esto"y "Lo Otro", quiere darle cabida a otras perspectivas. En cierta forma, la investigación y la creación que profesores y estudiantes están realizando en el Departamento se abren a ese mayor horizonte que nos indicó Fumio Ito con su ejemplo. Universitas Humanística recibe la hospitalidad de la Fundación que lleva el nombre de nuestro estudiante y al mismo tiempo, la cultura de Fumio recibe la bienvenida en nuestras páginas.

Thus, this work may be reproduced, distributed, and publicly shared in digital format, as long as the names of the authors and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana are acknowledged.
