Abstract
¿Sería el Partido Oficial en México un partido único? Por supuesto que se niega fuertemente, alegando la presencia de unos dos, tres, y hasta cuatro partidos políticos más "libres de participar democráticamente a la competición electoral". De hecho, hay que reconocer que el Partido concentra en sí mismo todas las características del partido único, y se debe principiar con esa sencilla constatación si se quiere tratar de entender la historia contemporánea de México.
