Peer Review Process

All materials submitted to the journal undergo a rigorous peer review and editorial evaluation process  by the Editorial Committee and at least two academic peer reviewers through a double-blind system, along with copyediting, which is performed once the article is accepted for publication. The process includes the following steps:

a. Receipt of the manuscript by the journal's editorial assistant, who verifies that all submission requirements have been met. The review process includes plagiarism detection through the Turnitin platform.

b. Initial review by the Editor.

c. Submission of the manuscript to the Editor-in-Chief or an Associate Editor, a member of the Editorial Committee. At this stage, the Editor may reject the manuscript or accept for peer review.

d. Assignment of the manuscript to peer reviewers, who have 20 days to complete the evaluation. Whenever possible, peer reviewers are selected from outside the publishing institution to ensure academic independence and avoid potential conflicts of interest. In cases of conflicting reviews, a third reviewer will be appointed, which may extend the review process beyond the initial timeframe.

e. Assessment of the reviewers' comments by the Editor, who returns the manuscript to the Authors for necessary corrections or modifications, or notifies them of its rejection. Authors have 20 days to revise the manuscript in line with the reviewers’ comments and submit a detailed response.

f. The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of the manuscript is made by the Editor and the Editorial Committee, based on the journal's guidelines, the academic quality of the work, and the reviewers' recommendations.

The journal reserves the right to accept or reject submissions according to the recommendations of the Editorial Committee and the peer reviewers' evaluations.

By submitting a manuscript, Authors certify that the work is original, has not been published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere, and that authorship and institutional affiliations have been properly acknowledged by the corresponding author.
