Abstract
El ensayo se concentraen el periodo comprendido entre 1905 y 1930, tiempodurante el cual se presentó una serie de conjunciones entre artistas, ideas y técnicas que crearon una compleja relación entre el cine y las vanguardias artísticas de la “modernidad”.No se trata, sin embargo, de una historia del cine en los términosen que acostumbramos comprenderla. Al autor no leinteresa reconstruir fielmente la cronología de los acontecimientos,las teorías y las obras surgidas durante este periodo,sino más bien proponer una serie de problemas que permitanhacerse una imagen de la compleja relación entre cine y artemoderno. El interés de los distintos capítulos que componenel texto no es, en esta medida, meramente descriptivo otaxonómico. Se trata, mejor, de una especie de arqueologíadinámica a través de la cual se rastrean relaciones, preguntasy lógicas de pensamiento desde las cuales se construyó unaidea del cine ligada a la modernidad.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
