Abstract
En el año 2010, las imágenes de la serie 18.Oktober 1977 de Gerhard Richter fueron exhibidas en la 29 Bienal de San Pablo. Pero no fue la obra original lo que los visitantes pudieron ver, sino óleos en base a fotografías de catálogo comisionados por la Bienal al Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Lima (Li-Mac), institución ficcional creada en el año 2002 por la artista peruana Sandra Gamarra.
A partir de esta apropiación, se analizarán los distintos caminos que han recorrido los rostros de los miembros del grupo terrorista alemán Baader-Meinhof desde que Richter los mostrara por primera vez en 1989. Atravesando tiempos y lugares disímiles, se acompañará a estas imágenes errantes para mostrar las tensiones que generaron en cada uno de los espacios en que fueron exhibidas.
