Abstract
Este ensayo considera los nuevos desafíos representacionales de la literatura contemporánea. La crisis engendrada por los traumas de la historia, los inevitables fracasos de la memoria, y la así llamada disolución del afecto que define los tiempos del neoliberalismo encuentran respuesta en la literatura con un enfoque deliberado en la inmediatez, la cual conduce a un decidido énfasis en los efectos somáticos del encuentro entre el individuo y su mundo y sus consecuencias éticas. El ensayo empieza con una mirada amplia con respecto al universo somático que domina la literatura latinoamericana reciente y enfoca en particular la poesía argentina contemporánea, sobre todo la obra de Fabián Casas, en la cual se destaca la importancia del momento presente para construir un mundo literario.Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
