Abstract
El presente artículo analiza cómo el carácter crecientemente transnacional de la producción y comercialización de telenovelas incide en las representaciones identitarias y culturales que generan tales productos televisivos. El artículo se centra en el estudio de las experiencias transnacionales de autores y empresas de Miami, Colombia y Venezuela. Se trata, entonces, de analizar las diferentes formas de transnacionalización e integración de la producción y de los mercados en tomo al género. Mato critica, de igual modo, las lecturas mitologizantes de la globalización que se reducen a dar cuenta -superficialmente- de supuestos procesos de desterritorialización al margen de ámbitos específicos de la economía y la cultura.Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
