Abstract
De acuerdo con la revisión realizada, el acceso a los servicios de la salud oral es un importantecriterio de equidad en salud. Las razones políticas, sociales, económicas y sanitarias del accesoa los servicios de salud bucal indicaron que este es un tema actual y relevante para la saludpública bucal. Las barreras económicas de acceso a los servicios de salud se han constituidoen el principal obstáculo para la utilización de los servicios de salud bucal de la población. Laevidencia señala que el aseguramiento no garantiza el acceso efectivo a los servicios. La informaciónse obtuvo en varias bases de datos tales como: Medline, Proquest, Science Direct, Ovid,Lilacs y Cochrane, así como también en páginas web de revistas y organizaciones nacionales.Copyright notice
