Abstract
The present article deals with research in robotics applied to telemedicine carried out by the Department of Electronic Engineering and the Surgery Department ofthe Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. The research process applied in laparoscopic surgeries using a manipulator robot is described. Finally, the results and possible implementation of telecommand in other fields are discussed.
