Abstract

This review analyzed the context of discussion about ´digital natives’ subject and the use of this notion in indexed literature. A critical review of essays, commentaries, point of view articles, and research results, are presented. Some problematic issues aroused in this field are discussed. It is evident the scarce empirical facts and drawbacks related with paradigmatic and methodological approaches. Relevant aspects are proposed in order to follow up the research with the purpose to deep in a comprehensive and interdisciplinary way in this research arena.
