Background: Adenomatoid odontogenic tumor (AOT) is a benign neoplasm that represents 2-7% of all oral odontogenic tumors. More than 50% AOTs are diagnosed in female adolescents. It is noninvasive and grows slowly. It can easily be misdiagnosed due to its resemblance with an odontogenic cyst. Case report: The report describes the case of a 13-year old girl with a central follicular AOT on the left side of the mandible with her permanent mandibular left canine included in the lesion. Treatment included decompression and irrigation of the lesion cavity. Later, a tomogram showed calcifications within the cavity.
