Abstract
En este trabajo se comparó la abundancia y composición del ensamblaje de coleópteros en la cantera Soratama, la cual presenta áreas con diferente condición de abandono. Se colectaron un total de 857 coleópteros adultos agrupados en doce familias. La mayor abundancia y diversidad se encontró en el bosque adyacente, mientras que los valores más bajos se registraron en la zona descapotada. Se encontraron diferencias significativas en la composición del ensamblaje entre las áreas, debido a la complejidad estructural de la vegetación y a las condiciones microclimáticas que estos hábitats proporcionan a las especies.Univ.
