Abstract
El autor reflexiona sobre la relación entre comunicación y la promoción de la salud pública. Plantea que la comunicación en dicha relación se ha comprendido desde tres perspectivas: como herramienta e instrumento, como proceso de construcción de consensos, o como red que constituye el tejido de la interacción humana. Concluye que el Estado está en la obligación de gestar y promover la salud podrían trabajar-interdisciplinariamente- en investigación, educación, información y en la creación de redes locales y regionales para el fortalecimiento de la autogestión en salud.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
