Abstract

This article propounds a critical review of the monitoring of the media carried out by MOE (Misión de Observación Electoral) and a group of university professors and student members of AFACOM from 8 different regions during the presidential elections of October, 2007. The paper presents the contextualization of the process, the conceptual components, the methodology used, and the results of both the direct analyses during the campaign and then, later, a more objective analysis of the final results.
