Abstract

El 2019 fue productivo para Universitas Medica: la revista ingresó a la base de datos de SciELO y reingresó al DOAJ. El primero de estos logros es particularmente importante, pues ayudará a determinar el impacto (recolección de citas) y a visualizar los artículos que se publican en Universitas Medica. Junto con la membresía que tenemos en el Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), que puede verse como la antesala para el ingreso a la Web of Science, el ingreso a SciELO nos acerca a la indexación en Scopus. En efecto, por pertenecer a SciELO, la revista aparecerá próximamente en la sección de revistas SciELO de Scimago. En consecuencia, uno de los propósitos del fin de año del 2019 es presentar la revista para indexación en Scopus.
