Resumen

A pesar del creciente interés entre los académicos por el emprendimiento sénior (ES), todavía existen importantes lagunas. Este artículo tiene como objetivo identificar los principales enfoques y contenidos de los estudios que investigan la ES. En total se analizaron 55 artículos. Los resultados sugieren que el tema está emergiendo y creciendo, destaca impactos sociales importantes, presenta oportunidades para estudios aún poco explorados en la literatura y amplía consideraciones institucionales y culturales refractarias. El cuerpo de conocimientos se agrupó en cinco grupos temáticos: humano, social, identidad del sénior, situación del mercado y normativa. La ampliación de los conocimientos teóricos en este estudio tiene como objetivo lograr una perspectiva más rica sobre el posicionamiento de la educación superior en el contexto social.
