Resumo
Apesar do crescente interesse entre os acadêmicos pelo empreendedorismo sênior (SE), ainda existem lacunas importantes. Este artigo tem como objetivo identificar as principais abordagens e conteúdos dos estudos que investigam a ES. No total, foram analisados 55 artigos. Os resultados sugerem que o tema é emergente e crescente, destaca importantes impactos sociais, apresenta oportunidades de estudos ainda pouco explorados na literatura e amplia considerações institucionais e culturais refratárias. O corpo de conhecimento foi agrupado em cinco grupos temáticos: humano, social, identidade do idoso, situação de mercado e regulamentação. A ampliação do conhecimento teórico neste estudo visa alcançar uma perspectiva mais rica sobre o posicionamento do ensino superior no contexto social.
