Abstract
Se evalúa Ia tecnología de 54 ambulatorios de Ia red primaria de salud de Ia Gobernación del estado Miranda en Venezuela, con base en Ia teoría de Weilbull sobre Ia distribución teórica de Ia rata de fallas de 10s equipos. La evaluación se desarrolla en tres pasos. Primer paso: análisis de Ia data suministrada por Ia Gobernación; segundo paso: evaluación de Ia infraestructura y tercer paso: desarrollo de técnicas y conocimientos. Se concluye que en el caso de Venezuela hay una mora de más de diez años en Ia ejecución de Ia Ley Orgánica de Salud. Se recomienda un plan de salud y Ia ejecución de un proyecto de ingeniería clínica para mejorar una gestión efectiva y eficiente, dadas Ias circunstancias en que vive el país.
