Abstract
El artículo hace un diagnostico de las facultades de comunicación Latinoamericanas en los ultimos quince años y cuestiona su futuro. El diagnóstico se sitúa en las tranformaciones de las universidades Latinoamericanas, tanto públicas como privadas dentro de los procesos de modernización y reforma educativa que la ola neoliberal ha impulsado y en la desarticulación multiple que vincula a la teoría con la profesión en las escuelas de comunicación. Recurre al cencepto de campo académico para explicar las tranformaciones sufridas por las Facultades y para conocer el imperativo de replantear el proyecto por el cual trabajan las Facultades en la formación de sus estudiantes.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
