Abstract
En este artículo se analizan los principales resultados en materia de equidad en salud de la
reforma a la seguridad social en salud en el país, se discuten las causas estructurales de la actual
crisis y se presentan algunos elementos globales de juicio que podrían orientar el camino hacia la
construcción de salidas a los problemas identificados. El documento se apoya en un conjunto de
evidencias hasta ahora producidas por distintas fuentes, lo que ayuda a lograr una idea de global
de la problemática y a enriquecer el análisis. Este método es comúnmente usado por los analistas
de políticas de salud cuando se trata de evaluar en forma holística tópicos complejos alusivos a
los resultados de una política social.
