Abstract

Pheochromocytomas are tumors originated from chromaffin tissue that may be present with symptoms and signs of catecholamine excess. The incidence of pheochromocytoma is approximately 1-8/million in the general population. We report here the case of a 52-year-old female with malign pheochromocytoma. It is the first time that a laparoscopic adrenalectomy is being done at Hospital San Rafael de Tunja.
