Citomegalovirus diseminado: a propósito de un caso

Resumen
El artículo presenta el caso de un hombre sin antecedentes previos de enfermedad, que consultó inicialmente por dolor abdominal. Se documentó colecistitis aguda, en la patología con hallazgos de citomegalovirus; adicionalmente, presentaba múltiples manifestaciones: síntomas respiratorios, sangrado gastrointestinal y pancitopenia. Se documentó infección por VIH y muestras serológicas e histológicas de citomegalovirus. Se hace diagnóstico de citomegalovirus diseminado en el contexto de infección por VIH.
