Resumen

Objetivo: Evaluar el efecto inmunomodulador de la sertralina (SRT) y la sertralina
incluida en la β-ciclodextrina (LF) en células dendríticas humanas (CD) generadas in
vitro a partir de monocitos sobre marcadores de fenotipo y la producción de citocinas.
Materiales y métodos: Se aislaron monocitos CD14+ de células mononucleares de
sangre periférica y se diferenciaron a CD; posteriormente, se pretrataron con SRT o
LF durante una hora. Finalmente, las CD se maduraron con lipopolisacárido (LPS)
durante 24 horas y se analizó el fenotipo de las CD y las concentraciones de citocinas
en los sobrenadantes de cultivo. Resultados: No se observaron cambios al comparar
el fenotipo de las CD maduradas con LPS en ausencia o presencia de la SRT. Así
mismo, no hubo variación en cuanto a la producción de citocinas. Conclusión: La
SRT incluida o no en la β-ciclodextrina no afecta el fenotipo y la secreción de las CD
tratadas con LPS.
