Abstract

This paper, based on qualitative research, aims to study children note taking as a means to communicate with the other. The experimental situation was based on an activity regarding the notions of floating/immersion of objects. After working in the activity, children needed to take notes on a paper so another peer could work within the framework of the same activity. Results seem to support the idea that children (from the test) respond to the request of taking notes successfully, and with a clear tendency, according to their age, to write. Thus, this research shows the influence of the activity.
