Abstract

A quantitative relational study was conducted in order to describe the attitudes of teachers towards ICT and their relation to certain socio-demographic variables (age and gender) and to variables that indicate accessibility of technology (computer at home and Enciclomedia —a bank of multimedia resources— in the classroom). The results indicate the teachers generally have positive attitudes towards ICT, especially male teachers and those who have a greater chance of interaction with them.
