Abstract

This paper refers to the Dental Record as a tool for identification, its importance, the scientific procedure to apply it, and the Law 38 of 1993. Regarding this Law, the dentist, who works in private practice or at the official level, has the obligation to do a Dental Record, however an up date is not a must.
