Resumo

Antecedentes: A fibrina rica em plaquetas (PRF) é um concentrado de plaquetas que é utilizado com maior frequência em medicina e odontologia. Os resultados clínicos são variáveis ​​porque existem diferentes protocolos, equipamentos de centrifugação e técnicas de colocação. A ignorância dos elementos estruturais pode afetar o resultado clínico. Objetivo: Descrever as características estruturais da Fibrina Rica em Plaquetas nas diferentes zonas da membrana. Métodos: Estudo experimental in vitro com 15 amostras de sangue de cinco voluntários adultos saudáveis ​​atendidos na clínica odontológica da Universidade Antonio Nariño, Popayán. O hemograma basal foi feito, o sangue foi coletado e centrifugado (10 minutos x 3000 rpm). As amostras foram analisadas histologicamente e com microscopia eletrônica de varredura (MEV). A estrutura da fibrina, plaquetas e leucócitos foi descrita. Resultados: A contagem média de plaquetas no sangue total foi de 251 ± 31,74 x103 x mm3 e na PRF foi de 832 ± 123,43 x103 x mm3. Macroscopicamente, três áreas do PRF foram identificadas: uma superior com poucas plaquetas (FPP), uma camada leucoplaquetária (BC) e a zona da rede corpuscular (RBC). Na análise da microscopia óptica, observa-se que na área da CB há uma maior concentração de plaquetas. A análise SEM prova que a estrutura da rede de fibrina e o conteúdo celular são diferenciais em cada zona. Conclusão: A partir do conhecimento estrutural do PRF, aplicações que podem melhorar o desempenho do biomaterial e, portanto, os resultados clínicos podem ser propostos.
