Abstract

The central nervous system (CNS) tumors correspond to 2% of all neoplasms, although they are not the most frequent, they have a significant component of morbidity and mortality (Pardo C, Cendales R). This is partly due to psychiatric symptomatology, including hallucinations, significantly impacting the quality of life of patients. This is why it is of vital importance.  A literature search related to this topic was conducted, both in academic articles and in books. Throughout this paper we seek to characterize the appearance of hallucinations in the context of brain tumors and to emphasize the importance of their correctly diagnostic approach.
