Abstract
Background: Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) is a syndrome that has some specific congenital, physical and behavioral characteristics that vary between each person. It is a rare disease, with a prevalence of 1 in 10,000 to 60,000 individuals. Case description: This article compares two clinical cases of people with CdLS, treated at the Special Care Clinic (CCE) of the School of Dentistry at the University of Chile (FOUCh), that shows different states of oral health and therefore different therapeutic approaches, including the multidisciplinary team in the care of both. Conclusion: It is important that the dentist and the health team in general adapt to the needs and conditions of the patients, to perform an integrative and individualized dental treatment for each person.
