Resumo
La resonancia magnética cerebral se ha establecido como una herramienta muy valiosa para el diagnóstico de enfermedades neurológicas, debido a su capacidad de proveer excelente detalle y caracterización de los tejidos.
En este artículo se explican las bases físicas de la resonancia magnética y las diferentes secuencias usadas en el protocolo de imágenes cerebrales, con el objetivo de proporcionar al lector las herramientas básicas para comprender las imágenes del cerebro.
