Call for papers: Dossier Generative Artificial Intelligence in Education: Opportunities and Challenges in Education

magis, International Journal of Research in Education is now accepting submissions for articles to be published in the Dossier Generative Artificial Intelligence in Education: Opportunities and Challenges in Education. magis, International Journal of Research in Education, invites researchers and educators to submit theoretical and empirical contributions on the integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence in teaching and learning processes. This special issue seeks to open a space for reflection on the opportunities, risks, challenges, and ethical considerations surrounding the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in education.

Guest Editors:

Rocío López-Ordosgoitia, Faculty of Education, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia).
Ph.D. in Information and Communication Sciences (University of Lille, France); M.A. in Media Engineering for Education (University of Poitiers, France). Research interests: digital technologies in education, Generative Artificial Intelligence, Childhoods, and Digital Media.

Abstract submissions for this Dossier must be sent exclusively by email to magisrevista@javeriana.edu.co.

Deadline for abstract submissions: March 31, 2026.

Convocatoria para la postulación de artículos durante el primer semestre de 2025

La convocatoria para la postulación de artículos durante el primer semestre de 2025 estará abierta desde el 03 de febrero 2025 hasta el 28 de febrero de 2025. El proceso de postulación se está realizando por medio del correo electrónico (magisrevista@javeriana.edu.co). A esta dirección de correo se deben enviar: el artículo completamente anónimo, utilizando la plantilla de adecuación al formato de la revista, y los formatos adicionales (formato de datos y la carta de certificación de manuscrito inédito firmada por todos los autores del artículo). Para mayor información sobre el formato y el proceso consultar las Normas para autores de la revista.
