Signo y Pensamiento, Journal of Communication, Information and Languages, focuses on the following subjects: theoretical and methodological trends in communication and their interdisciplinary links; models for the organization, storage, circulation, dissemination and retrieval of information and knowledge; and foundations of language as a field of knowledge in relation with other disciplines. In addition, the Journal is also interested on methodological innovation in the fields of communication, information and language contributing to social and cultural development, in relation to issues such as social exclusion, human rights and the digital gap. Moreover, the journal explores multimedia communication technologies and media convergence. Signo y Pensamiento, Journal of Communication, Information and Languages, is published six-monthly by the Faculty of Communication and Languages, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Bogotá, and the Department of Communication and Languages, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali.
