Abstract

Objective: To determine the level of Professional Quality of Life of the professors of the Faculty of Medicine at a University of Lambayeque, September-November 2019. Materials and methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study carried out at the Catholic University Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo to a population of 264 professors of the Faculty of Medicine whose sample was 159, chosen proportionally to the number of professors stratified by the schools that make up the faculty, applying the questionnaire "Quality of Professional Life" (CVP-35) Results: Good CVP was obtained with an average of 6.74 of 10, regarding intrinsic motivation reached an average of 7.91 (Good), hourly load got an average of 4.71 (Bad) and managerial support, average of 6.48 (Good). Conclusions: The perception of CVP is good, highlighting intrinsic motivation, although there is a lot of time, intrinsic motivation and managerial support are compensatory elements in the quality of life of teachers.
