Abstract
This study discusses Project Based Learning (PBL) as a pedagogical focus adapted to the remote teaching undertaken during the COVID-19 pandemic for undergraduate students at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia). The article presents a reflection on the education provided by PBL, based on the communicative implications for the student body. The mixed-descriptive methodological approach used surveys and semi-structured interviews to assess the strategy which was implemented. The results highlight the positive evaluation of the methodology and the perception of the degree of learning by the students. The study points to the communicative dimension as the main barrier in an ambit of remote study.
